how to make money blogging

The internet is an amazing source for people to earn a living, and you can do it all from your computer and with the help of some easy steps. If there’s one thing that most students don't know they can, it’s how to start their own online business and generate a steady stream of income.

In this day and age when everyone keeps an eye on what’s happening in the market, it's no surprise that many young and aspiring entrepreneurs want to jump into the fray of starting their businesses.

There are so many reasons why you should put a foot on the line and become an entrepreneur. You can have a positive impact on humanity, save money, and live better lives than ever before. Plus, if you're not making enough money already, I guarantee you'll find out soon enough.

First off, I'm about to tell you everything you need to know about becoming successful at starting your own business online and start earning a huge amount of passive income.

There Are 2 Types Of Niche Markets
There are two types of niche markets:

1) Niche Market - This type of market focuses on certain niches like health, fitness, personal finance, beauty products, etc., but there are fewer barriers to entry. This means that anybody can create a product that is available only to others within these specific niches. Examples of niche markets include things like:

Health & Fitness Websites About Weight Loss (and Ways to Lose Weight ) Personal Finance Gains (Money Lessons You Took Too Long And Learned) Beauty Product Reviews (and How Do They Work?) Money Tips For College Students (and Extra-Territorial Support!)

If you find yourself in the position to be a great fit and looking for ways to grow your brand beyond niche, then consider starting a blog about your ideas. There’s always a market for something of value, it’ll take time for those niches to get saturated but once you have a product, you always go back to them.

2) Generalist Market – This also known as Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) is a very popular form of marketing that doesn’t require any specialized skills or knowledge. It takes over the whole process of building a customer base and selling products to them. There are many companies and groups out there that fall into this category. These kinds of jobs usually pay well and aren't very difficult to enter. In addition to having a good salary, MLM owners often choose to invest in their businesses instead of stocks, bonds, and other expensive investments. One of the best ways to earn passive income from this industry is to build up a client base that already has a lot of potential buyers.

What Is Starting Your Own Business?

I know that sounds a bit complicated but let me explain this step by step:

1. Find Your Niche

You need to decide how you're going to launch your business. There are three different categories of businesses and many different opportunities for each one. However, in almost all cases, you should begin with one niche, and if possible, focus on that category. Once you've selected a particular niche you will know exactly where to start.

If you've chosen the first option, think about the best way to reach your target audience and connect them with your business. After you've made sure you’re reaching your intended customers, check out the statistics of your competition. Understand their strengths, weaknesses, goals, and target market, and use that information to guide your choice of niche.

One other key factor in identifying a solid niche is finding someone who knows the same thing as you do, but who's willing to give you advice on how you can best sell your products to the people that follow you on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and of course, YouTube. Because they have already established themselves as a part of your target market, you’ll quickly discover that most people who follow you are looking for more information on your business rather than buying. That means to compete successfully, you need to increase your traffic to your site.

2. Building A Customer Base

While choosing a single niche isn’t a good idea, you might want to consider building a community around your business. The easiest way to achieve this is to start building relationships with existing customers.

It takes some work to build such a strong relationship but the rewards are extremely high as word-of-mouth becomes increasingly important and word spreads. Also, try to use a social networking website like LinkedIn, connect with a few influencers who share relevant tips on marketing and business, and connect with them via email. Some people are willing to connect you with them, others might offer to connect you with their friends.

Once you've built multiple connections, add more to your list along with the right tools and techniques to continue adding to your network. Remember, creating a loyal, engaged audience is critical.

3. Create An Online Store

The next step when setting up your blog is to open up a store. Your goal here is to build your online storefront that is optimized for search engine optimization (SEO) by optimizing your content and images.

A great place to start is with Google. Try Keyword Planner. Pick one or two big keywords (or even several) that you think will help you rank higher on search results. Then, add them together.

After Google gives you hundreds of thousands of listings from which to pick, you’ll now have your unique listing for your website. Add a link to this page from your webpage, and you should be able to easily access the pages of sites that are using your keyword or phrase.

Once you've decided on a niche, build a website and a landing page. If you’re creating a new blog, you should put away all your old websites and make a fresh new account. You may also like to create a Tumblr account if you're planning a microblogging style of blog. All of your choices are yours!

4. Create Content

Your content should be written from scratch. Put your heart and soul into writing your content. Don’t worry about SEO. Write for your audience and forget about search engines. But be realistic. You won't see much growth unless your content is engaging to readers.

You need to write in a creative and informative style. Use words such as “best”, “favorite”, “hope”. Give examples of how those adjectives would best describe what you're offering and/or how they would fit into the context of your article. This approach seems obvious, but when done correctly can help you attract leads that are likely to buy into your message.

You’ve got to make sure that your readers can understand how you want them to react to your posts. Start small and write your posts as though they were a piece of cake.

You may eventually come across a point when a post goes viral and you start seeing comments left and right. Take note of these comments and be interested in sharing your thoughts on them.

5. Optimize Your Pages For Rankings

Now that you have your main content, get started with updating your pages periodically. You’ve already talked about SEO, but make sure to update whenever you go to bed for the night.

Make sure to write your posts on the platform that gives you a competitive advantage, i.e. Pinterest, or perhaps your competitors’ posts.

6. Go-To Social Media Platforms

You always want to look for opportunities for partnerships, referrals, testimonials, and endorsements. Be active on the platforms you already use, for example, Instagram. Search for accounts that produce quality content on the topic you're trying to write about. Follow those accounts. Visit their profiles and respond to their comments and questions. Engage with them and ask for their recommendations for future articles. Keep in mind that some of these opportunities may not be legitimate and this is where being a good citizen comes into play. If someone does it wrong, do a little research, and report the offending person to the appropriate authorities.

7. Publish Weekly

Next, start posting your pages at least once a week. Now, this isn't about you. You're just helping your followers see your latest material. You get the benefit of virality, but you also gain the benefits of showing up every Thursday morning as opposed to every Saturday. Not only will you start getting views, but you'll also be able to share your post to different parts of the world, creating more exposure and promoting your business.

8. Invest In Branding

You probably already figured out how important branding is at this stage. So, why not consider investing in branding your business before starting your blog? Here are some reasons why.

Build trust with your customers

Your brand will speak volumes on your credibility. This is already something that you'll learn from watching videos about people doing business and then watching those same people trying to convince investors to back their money in stock trading schemes later on. Before you dive into branding, make sure to make yourself familiar with the terms.

Your employees will be inspired to put down a comment once you've posted something that they liked.

You can give your business an air of professionalism and dignity that is hard to imitate. You can show people you're serious about your business and you're not afraid to show it.

Branding also puts you ahead of your competitors, allowing you to stand out amongst a range of similar businesses. Without the confidence boost this creates, there’s nothing to motivate you while you’re on your way to success as a writer.
